Wadestown School Fundraiser

Great turnout at the Wadestown School fundraising quiz & auction last night. It was good to see the Independent Together candidates there as well as Karl Tiefenbacher for Wellington and other candidates.

My favourite part of the three-hour affair was the ‘One-Day-As…’ auctions. You can purchase experiences for your children to be the Mayor of Porirua, a principal, or even the Police Commissioner for a day, even though the role of the Police Commissioner, in this instance, won’t be as operational so tasers won’t be involved.

My son went to Wadestown School when Sally was the principal. It was great to see many teachers there last night. Thank you for all that you do for our children!

It will be good to strengthen our community and restore our economy so that parents no longer struggle to pay the voluntary donations to our schools.
