Student Life - Introducing M

Hailing from the beautiful East Coast of the North Island, M has lived in Wellington for many years to study and is currently doing a postgraduate degree in Māori philosophy and law at Te Wananga O Raukawa. When interviewed about the upcoming election, M said his top three concerns are:

1. Water and infrastructure management

2. Vibrancy of Wellington CBD, or more accurately, the lack of vibrancy

3. Cost of living

Most Wellingtonians share M’s concerns.

When elected, my commitment to you is that I will focus on delivering core services effectively. I will work with local businesses to create a collaborative and enabling environment. I will also be an advocate for keeping the city more affordable by getting better value for money for you by improving efficiency.
