Nominations for the local body elections close at 12pm today. I applaud and congratulate all who put themselves forward as candidates. We may have different ideas, but we all want a brighter future for our city.
I am running for a seat in the Onslow-Western / Wharangi ward. My commitment is to the people of the ward and to standing as an authentic, accountable voice on Council.
My focus is — and always has been — on representing the constituents of the Onslow-Western Ward. I want to ensure their voices are heard loud and clear at the council table. It’s time we got back to the basics of what local government is meant to do: fix what’s broken, maintain what matters, and invest wisely in our city’s future.
There is going to be a reset of our council come October. If you want to be part of that change by volunteering for my campaign, please drop me a line or get in touch by visiting https://www.lilybrown.nz/copy-of-contact-lily. To make a donation to help me with the basics, please go to https://www.lilybrown.nz/donate. $50 isn’t too little. It is your support that counts.
The Onslow-Western Ward covers Broadmeadows, Crofton Downs, Kaiwharawhara, Karori, Khandallah, Makara, Ngaio, Ngauranga, Northland, Wadestown and Wilton.
If you have friends of family living in these suburbs, please share this post with them and ask them to vote for Lily Brown!
