Fix infrastructure, get the basics right

Local government should start with core responsibilities: fix what’s broken, maintain what matters, and invest wisely in our city’s future. That means:

  • Prioritising safe, well-maintained roads, footpaths, stormwater systems and public transport to support daily life in the suburbs.

  • Ensuring that rates are spent efficiently and responsibly, delivering real value and avoiding waste.

  • Focusing on upgrades that enhance resilience, such as climate-proofing key infrastructure in hydrological designs, renewals, and emergency readiness.

Infrastructure that reflects community needs

  • I believe in inclusive decision‑making. That means listening to what residents say: “our roads need safer crossings”, “can we upgrade footpaths?”, or “let’s support better water drainage so homes don’t flood.”

  • I will work alongside communities and government to get these practical improvements in place—and to advocate for funding that tackles local priorities first

Back to fundamentals: ratepayer value & accountability

Voters deserve a Council that focuses on delivering essentials well, not politics. My campaign is built around:

  • Lower rates, smarter spending, and real value for money

  • Transparent, accountable service delivery, where every project is justified, every cost is public, and no one is left out
