Introducing Chewy - named after Chewbacca

Chewy of Kelburn and his hooman, Callum, were enjoying a cup of coffee at Gemini Cafe & Eatery when they were approached by a strange woman (aka Lily) with noisy shoes who proceeded to join them for a cuppa.

The dynanic duo are, unfortunately, leaving Wellington for a while. They have serious concerns about where our Council chooses to spend their time and energy. Chewy loves bicycle and cyclists (most of them anyways!), but he doesn’t care for the poorly planned cycle ways that are making it difficult for many residents to park outside their house or to get around the city.

Editorial:

The Council should focus on delivering the core services and be more thoughtful about where are the best cycle routes are.

We need to keep the city vibrant, rates affordable so people want to live here.
